Hi, I’m Carly, and I know stories!
For many years I studied literature, culminating in the completion of a Master of Arts in English.
I have since spent over six years in the publishing industry. I started my career in project management, helping self-publishing authors bring their books to life. I was the liaison between author and designer, becoming each author’s guide for brainstorming creative concepts, making informed design decisions, and navigating the world of print. Along the way I’ve developed a keen eye for not only the stories themselves, but the composition and creativity that brings them to life on the printed page. To complement this intimate work, I independently developed proficiency in design skills and software—focusing on book design—and was lucky enough to transition to a new role where I helped families preserve their individual and collective histories in beautiful keepsake books.
Overall, I have dedicated my education to studying stories and my professional experience to helping individuals tell theirs. I am excited to help you and your loved ones design a wonderful heirloom that you can cherish for generations.
